ABNA, BAGERHAT: A dramatic incident at the historic Khan Jahan Ali shrine pond in Bagerhat has captured national attention after a crocodile attacked and dragged a dog into the water.
The Incident took place on Wednesday afternoon (April 8), when a crocodile locally known as “Dhala Pahar” seized the dog from the main ghat area and pulled it underwater. video footage of the Incident quickly spread across social media, triggering widespread debate and speculation.
Some users claimed the dog had been tied and intentionally fed to the crocodile, while others accused shrine Department of regularly feeding animals to it. however eyewitness accounts and video analysis suggest otherwise.
According to locals, the dog appeared sick and had bitten several man before moving toward the ghat. When it entered the water, the crocodile attacked it.
